First class food
At Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden, Fredrik Malmstedt is responsible for both food and drink.
He has a background in the Swedish Chef National Team and has won many food medals over the years, in both the World Cup and the Olympic Games. Fredrik has also run a restaurant on Gotland and worked at the Swedish Embassy in Rome.
– My cooking has always been characterized by simplicity with the raw material in the center, says Fredrik. High flavors, nice presentation, love in cooking and not least saturated stomachs. Our guests should be happy when they leave the table.
French dining room and adjoining Verandan with its crystal chandeliers and decorated walls from the 19th century is the hotel’s fancy crown jewel. In the restaurant Sea Front, the proximity to the sea is evident and during summer time the terrace is hard to beat.

Breakfast is served in Franska Matsalen (the French dining room) every day.
Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00. Saturday – Sunday at 07:30 – 10:30.
Lunch is served at Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden every day in restaurant Franska Matsalen.
Monday – Friday 11:30 to 14:00, Saturday – Sunday 12:00 to 14:00

Bar Seafront is open Sunday – Thursday 14.00–23.00 and Friday – Saturday 15.00–24.00. In SeaFront you can eat pizza and bar snacks.
