Privacy policy
We collect only the data we need to answer you, take your booking and tell you when the house opens again. Below we describe what is stored, why and for how long.
Data controller

What we collect
Waiting list sign-up: email address and, where given, your name. Contact and enquiry forms (weddings, conferences, press, careers): name, email, phone number, preferences and whatever you write in the message. Visits to the website: technical information such as IP address, browser and pages viewed.
Why we process it
We use the data to answer your enquiry, tell you when booking opens, handle reservations and recruitment, and to improve the website. The legal basis is your consent (waiting list and newsletters), performance of a contract or steps prior to one (bookings and enquiries), and our legitimate interest in running and developing the business.
Cookies
The website uses necessary cookies to function, for example for language choice and forms. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
How long we keep it
The waiting list is kept until the opening has taken place or until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Booking records and accounting records are kept as long as the law requires, normally seven years. Job applications are kept for a maximum of 24 months.
Who has access
The data is handled by hotel staff and by suppliers who assist us with hosting, booking systems, email delivery and recruitment. They act as processors and may only handle the data on our instructions. No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA without appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a machine-readable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Contact us at info@grandsaltsjobaden.se. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
